Keep the items you need and use daily on the desk in a storage accessory like a cup. Store everything else in an easy to reach drawer.

Get the right layout when organising your desktop or laptop and your desk storage. Think about what you use the most, and what would be the most productive. Remember that you can also use storage space like drawers for the things you’re unsure about.
3. File it.
Streamline your space by filing all the paper that comes by your desk and have a small designated area for it. Some ideas for filing folders; ‘to read, read, to send, and meetings’. Remember to keep it to a minimal amount and make sure they’re succinct.
4. White space.
To limit clutter, free some space to your dominant side as a designated work space for when you need to sign or review documents.
5. Always clean your desk at the end of the day.
Give your desk a quick clean sweep when your day is winding down. This brings closure to your work day and sets you up for a clean start tomorrow.
